Delivering all of the same seductive features as the original T.R.D., the Z Man Big T.R.D. offers a larger profile that works to draw more attention and entice bigger bites. Built to pair perfectly with Z Man’s Power Finesse Shoomz, the Z Man Big T.R.D. creates an incredibly versatile finesse fishing package with unmatched durability and attraction. Not just for Ned-rigs, the larger size of the Z Man Big T.R.D. allows it to be used for Texas-rigs, wacky-rigs, and Carolina-rigs as well. Offered in a number of incredibly effective colors, the Z Man Big T.R.D. is kind of a “big deal.”
Comments: Fishing with these is SUPER frustrating. I always Texas rig my stick baits using an EWG hook, and these seemed to look fantastic on a 3/0 hook, but the elaztech material's tenacity made it very stubborn and nearly impossible to bury the hook point ("texposed"), and on numerous casts the point would escape the worm and snag weeds and wood like crazy. I hated it. I wouldn't recommend these unless you're fishing in water with a completely blemishless bottom.

Comments: If you haven't tried rigging these on the Finesse Bulletz hooks (Zman), you're missing out. They still let the bait stand up but they come through rock almost perfectly. This can be applied to almost every Zman worm and creature. This is especially helpful for bank fishing when a mushroom head gets stuck on any and everything. Spend the $5, you wont regret it. Comments: Every once in a while a bait comes along that just WORKS, this is the big TRD. Use it on a magnum Ned head, shakey head jig(but yes they are frustrating screwing on the keeper), wacky rig it, neko rig it, drop shot, Texas, they really can just about do it all. Blue claw, Green Pumkin Goby, Molting Craw are great but they ALL work.

Comments: Fishing mid-elev lakes in norcal for spots mostly and find that if you can find 'em you can catch 'em on these baits. Dead-stick works the best for me, although moving the bait works well too. The stand-up action is hard to match! Can't give you a color choice as they all seem to work! Lake X is in my neighborhood and winter is now upon us. If you bass fish a lot you owe it to yourself to give these baits a try! Oh yeah, the largemouth are not immune to slamming these baits! Find 'em, catch 'em!!!

Comments: Fantastic , long lasting bait ! ...Besides using on a Z-Man power finesse shroomz jig head , try the Big TRD on a shaky head , a Neko Rig or a weighted wacky jig head (i.e. VMC 1/16th oz.) . *To get a Big TRD to slide onto a shaky head (with spring shaped keeper) or a Neko weight easier - briefly heat the spring keeper or the point of the Neko weight with a lighter to heat it up first - then push it into the Big TRD (making a small hole in the nose of the Big TRD with a hook point first also helps to get it started ) . As for colors , California Craw , Green Pumpkin , Black & Blue will get you bit anywhere - then add additional colors such as : Drew's Craw , Coppertreuse , Mudbug , etc. as your needs dictate . A very versatile bait - you can't go wrong trying a Big TRD !

Comments: These are awesome. Favorite part is how they stand straight up. Never like using a shaky head because didn't believe it would stand up the way I wanted. I've caught them while dragging it on the bottom or letting it pendulum swing. Both ways are killer, just let the fish tell you how they want it. And the durability of the plastic is great. Caught over 20 bass and it's still going.

Comments: I love these things. I've caught countless fish on them. Big ones too. Although I've had had a lot of success using them with the power finess mushroom head, my new favorite is using them on the 1/16 or 1/8 Vmc rugby head. It's very weedless for bouncing along the bottom. One of the best bed baits I've used.

Comments: Threw Drew's craw in a pond on a Ned rig and fish on! The trd baits are very durable. Super glue them to a shroom head and it will last all day.

Comments: I like to fish these on a 1/6th ounce shroomzhead or with a Snakelockz jighead for a weedless approach. I've used the Black/Blue Fleck & California Craw with good success. It's got a larger profile than the Hula Stickz when targeting larger fish.

Comments: I was a skeptic for the longest time. I finally decided to pick some up on a good sale, and it paid off. Couldn't get the smallmouth to eat a tube one day so I picked up a green pumpkin goby colored ned. Partner laughed at me until I started catching them. Nothing huge, but made a limit. I was throwing it on a 7' medium power with a mod-fast action/8 pound braid to 12 feet of 8 pound fluro. Safe to say that I'm a believer now.

Comments: Finally had a chance to try these. Great action. Didn't seem to have more action or less than a Senko when rigged on a jighead, but the durability is incredible. I will purchase more.

Comments: I had been using the regular TRDs for a while, and they have always been great for me. I went our and bought a pack of the big TRDs in green pumpkin, thinking they would get a bigger bite, and I was right. I was consistently catching 2 pounders on the regular, and even though the big ones didn't get as many bites, I landed 4 fish over 3 pounds, one being 4. I will definitely be buying more.

Comments: I have become a big fan of Zman baits! The durability and buoyant nature of their baits is the best. There is a learning curve and not all terminal tackle is compatible, but they catch fish!
