The right bait can be the difference between a big day and coming up empty, and the new Z Man Hula StickZ is the perfect choice when finesse tactics are in order. Try it paired with a light jig head, or Texas-rigged, and watch this buoyant bait stand up off the bottom with its tentacles waving seductively. Better still, it’s salt-impregnated ElaZtech construction ensures it’ll last. And last. And last. Available in a variety of proven colors, the Z Man Hula StickZ have arrived.
What separates Elaztech plastics from other soft plastics is their life-like action, natural buoyancy and unmatched durability. Elaztech baits not only look great, they are also up to 10X tougher than other plastics. They resist nicks, cuts and tears, and that means you're likely to catch a lot more fish on Elaztech before having to replace them.
Do not mix Elaztech baits with standard plastic baits.
Comments: my go to Ned...durable, stands up, wiggles. good colour choices.

Comments: Been fishing for 45 years and this is the best lure I have ever used. I have had success with many different colors, but the Canada Craw and California Craw have been my favorites. I have been rigging them with 15 lb Fluoro, 1/8 oz tungsten worm weights and a 3/0 EWG.

Comments: My go-to bait, in Mud Minnow, when I'm in fishing from the bank or on the kayak. 4 hours on the yak and I landed 9 SMB, 2 LMB, 2 Northerns and a rock bass. Finally, had to retire that single bait to the wall of fame when the 2nd pike tore 2 good streaks right to the core of the bait. Unrigged it and rerigged upside down like a Fat Ika and kept catching. I've had more success with these over the TRD and TRD Hogz. Forget the Shroomz, and get the Ned Lockz HD Jig Head for a better hook and an awesome keeper with a smaller profile.

Comments: Caught my PB smallmouth and the 2nd biggest largie that I have weighed on a reliable scale with the green pumpkin. These might not catch quite as many fish as the TRD, but they still catch a ton, and I have had a LOT of big bites on these tiny little things. Insanely durable, the only knock is that they can be a little hard to rig, but the pros outweigh the cons big time on this bait. I even use them for bed fishing in the spring, and have had a ton of success.

Comments: Another great product from Zman. I like the more slender profile of the Hula Sickz when you need something smaller than the ZinkerZ or the Big TRD. I like to use the 1/10th ounce shroomz head jigs when fishing these. As with with ZinkerZ's & Big TRD's I like to use the Power Finesse Shroomz Jigheads. The Watermelon Red Flake has by far produce more quality sized smallmouth for me than any other Zman soft plastic. I think it's the split tail end that mimics that of a crawfish and has great action.

Comments: A fantastic option for the Ned rig, though I do catch better numbers on the TRD. This one seems to catch a bit better average size though, but tons of bites are still the norm. Don't go fishing anywhere without a healthy supply of Z man Ned Rig stuff. The only situation they don't work in is murky water with less than 18" or so of visibility.

Comments: good bait holds up strike after strike and can be cut down if you wish for a smaller profile. The trd comes in a shorter version not sure why this one does not . they may in the future. I used mine about an inch or so shorter and it worked really well. You can stretch it out before you use. it removes some salt and seems to make the bait even softer. Some people said they remove the tentacles before they use it I have no idea why that's what makes the bait!

Comments: Just lost the PB & J Hula Stickz that caught 71 fish (Largemouth, Crappie & Bluegill) this Spring. I freaking lost it in the brush lol. This is our spring go to bait & it absolutely SLAYS fish. Throwing it mostly on a 1/16th Ozarks Weedless finesse head on a 7' popping rod. We glue the baits up to the jighead with a super glue gel and & it NEVER comes off and you will be hard pressed to have to replace this bait before you lose it.

Comments: Great bait. First time using caught an 19 in smallmouth. Have also caught walleye on them. Can catch a ton of fish on them before they need to be replaced.

Comments: It has been a year since my last post on this bait. I'm still on my second pack of these baits, and I continue to find ways to fish this thing. My favorite is the Revenge 1/0 Flippin' Whacker wacky rigging without the tentacles. That is until I discovered that using it on a weed-less 1/16 oz. jig head with a do nothing steady retrieve absolutely slays post spawn bass. I have also used this on a football head with great success for smallies. It gets down fast when dragged due to little water resistance letting me fish with less line out. The most productive piece of soft plastic in my box.

Comments: Rigged on a Shakey Head, the whole bait floats with the tail swaying back and forth. You just can't believe how many bass you can catch before you need to replace them. We're talking like 10 or more. Fish are not accustomed to seeing soft plastics that have tails that float tail up, when the jig head is lying on the bottom. Out fishes Trick Worms like nothing. Give them a shot.

Comments: Went out with the kids and decided to mess around with this new bait, and I knocked the snot off of them lil' green and brown bass. First, I cut the tenticles off it, put it on a weighted wacky hook, and caught some smallies off of docks. Caught at least seven fish up to two pounds without tearing the bait. Then I decided I would put it on an owner bullet head, and it fished just like a tube and managed to catch another three brown bass. I finally found some beds, and drop shotted the lil' critter, and caught two largemouth. This is one versatile bait. Plan to replace all of my tubes and 3-4" senkos/ yum dingers with these.
