As versatile as they are productive, the Z Man ZinkerZ feature a super tough, salt impregnated ElaZtech body designed to sink slowly and provide a tantalizing fluttering action on the fall. Rig them straight, Texas, Carolina, Wacky or on a drop shot, the Z Man ZinkerZ do everything that other sinking soft plastic stick baits do - except for tearing apart after one fish.
What separates Elaztech plastics from other soft plastics is their life-like action, natural buoyancy and unmatched durability. Elaztech baits not only look great, they are also up to 10X tougher than other plastics. They resist nicks, cuts and tears, and that means you're likely to catch a lot more fish on Elaztech before having to replace them.

Do not mix Elaztech baits with standard plastic baits.
Please Note: Some packaging may say bait length is 6-inches. This is a typo - actual length is 5-inches.
Comments: There are a lot of ways to fish a stick bait. This one shines for a couple of them because you don't need a silly looking o-ring to keep it on the hook, and you don't really need the cool shimmy that the Senko does. I probably have 10 packs of Senkos for every pack of these in my arsenal, but they do shine when I need them.
From: O'Billy Dudewright: 4/20/23
Comments: Love the way they shimmy, caught 25 fish weightless on 1 bait so you bet they last. Will be buying a ton more!!!! Thanks Z-Man!!!

Comments: I ran out of bang sticks and these were all the tackle shop had. I thought these would be the same thing but the zinkerz are absolutely terrible. They are super salty and after one cast they turn into mush that has no action or durability. Don't buy these.

Comments: Love the zman ned baits and smaller swimbaits. Wanted to try these as an alternative to Senkos at a certain socal lake known to produce 100+ fish days. Very disappointed. Rigged weedless and weightless the action is not the same as a Senko and traditional alternatives. Despite the salt, the bait still sinks much slower and with less action. With a 3/16 weighted hook, the bait sinks faster, but the action is still not the same. They do get bit, but then I was experiencing a further problem. It seems the massive amount of salt in the bait is causing it to not really return to its original form after being stretched quite a bit, something I've not experienced with other baits. After 3-5 fish, the worms were crunchy/mushy/sticky and seemed somewhat waterlogged as if water was taking the place of lost salt in the lure. I suppose 3-5 fish on a Zinker is better than 1-3 on a Senko, but I'd prefer the bait I have more confidence in. Maybe I got a bad pack or maybe they would perform better wacky rigged vs trigged, but I'm going to stick with the bait I've been using for well over a decade.

Comments: The Zinkerz works well Neko rigged (as other posters have noted). I also like it T-Rigged with a VMC Drop Dead Weighted EWG 3/0 or 4/0 weighted hook in 1/16th oz. ~ 1/8th oz. I also like it with a VMC weighted Wacky Jig Head (1/16th oz. ~ 1/8th oz) rigging the Zinkerz wacky style. Unlike a Yamamoto Senko, I believe the Elaztec Zingerz need a little weight to induce more flutter on the fall. Lastly, a very durable stick worm which seems to only get better the more bass you catch on it!From: Luther: Georgia 4/21/21
Comments: I thought that these would be the same as like the finesse trd but they are not. They are extremely soft and have sooooo much salt in them. I like them but they dont last very long because they have sooo much salt. From: Gavin: Bellevue, WA 9/17/20
Comments: Try Neko rigging these! Zinkerz softness gives them an amazing action. After you use them for 10 min the worm will easily fold in half where the O ring is placed. They sink at the perfect rate with a nail weight inserted. When you I use an O ring I can catch 20 bass on one bait. Well worth the money. Also great wacky rigged and on a shaky head. I use the Coppertruse color the most, and Canada Craw, Sprayed Grass, and California Craw and they all catch fish great. Durable.

Comments: These are a killer Neko Rig bait. Use an "o" ring and these baits will last for 15-20 fish. The Zinkerz get really soft and supple after being in the water for a while so they have an amazing action when Neko rigged or Whacky rigged.
From: Monty: 7/6/18
Comments: My favorite wacky rig bait. Stands up to multiple strikes and doesn't get picked off by greedy bluegill. After a while in the water, they will become neutrally bouyant and eventually float. Hang on to them and use them on a Shakey head or use a weighted wacky hook.
From: David: MEDINA, CA 6/16/18
Comments: There are certain conditions under which a zinkerz on a shaky head will catch bass like nothing else. I have pulled in fish after fish while people around me using other stick baits are struggling. I am a bit surprised that some people say that you can't fish them on a twist lock. I have always used them on Owner twist lock shaky heads and they work great.
From: Jim - Guntersville, AL 9/29/17
Comments: Amazing bait. The elaztech is amazing stuff. The applications for these is amazing and the durability is unrivaled. Aside from fishing them weightless and wacky, they are great on a shaky head because they stand straight up. Someone below mentioned they are hard to twist down on a screw lock. This is true, but there is a trick. Take a lighter to the spring and warm it up. Twists on like butter if you do this. I also use portions of zinkers on lighter buzzbaits to give them more weight for casting distance. Since they are bouyant, they don't hinder the ability to keep the buzzbait on the surface as much as a normal stick worm. Allows you to cast a smaller profile buzzbait further, without having to burn it to keep it on the surface. Zinkerz are simply an amazing bait.

Comments: These didn't survive the heat! I got several bags put them on the boat and in the heat they melted together and flattened out. Not even in direct sunlight. No other baits did this. Out my money.
From: Joe: Wenatchee, WA 8/25/15
Comments: Love Zinkerz, used very successfully wacky rigged when sight fishing in the spring. From: Brad: Kansas
Comments: On the up side, they work extremely well when wacky rigged since they are much more resistant to tearing off the hook after repeated strikes, and they have an excellent shimmy action on the drop. On the down side, they are so tough it is virtually impossible to screw them onto the twist lock of an Owner hook to keep them from sliding down when rigged Texas style. I achieve the best results with the two tone laminates that simulate the color patterns of prey fish, which also are darker on top and lighter on the bottom. From: Vince: Tucson, AZ
Comments: too lazy to cut one (haha) in half and do all that, BUT...wacky rig it and dropshot it. Or fire it out there on a heavy cackly-lacky rig, and WAIT while it floats up off the bottom after the weight settles. Oh, there are many more ways to fish this but I am getting tired of doing all the work for you. From: meatwad: where the beer flows like wine
Comments: I was skeptical at first, but after following the suggestions of cutting in half and rigging on a leadhead, I am sold. Crappie, bass, bluegill, carp, drum, rainbows, and channel cat have fallen victim to this bait. I have some trouble with them sliding down the hook if I texas rig it, but an exceptional all around bait. Without a doubt has become one of my top 3 go to baits
From: Chris: Overland Park, KS
Comments: The Zinker is an awesome bait, not only largemouth bass, but is a true multi species bait for walleye, crappie, drum and catfish. A typical rigging is to cut the 5" Zinker in-half, then split the "tail" into four tentacles inserting the jig hook into the bait as one would a tube or reversed with "tentacles" forward. By far the most durable plastic bait I've seen in my 50 years of fishing. The fish seem to latch onto it and refuse to let go!
From: Dave: Topeka, KS
Comments: Dynamite finesse bait when cut in half and rigged on a 1/16oz head like the Outkast Money head. On 6# fluorocarbon this is a hard to beat rig for putting keepers in the boat. Holds up better than a Senko or Dinger, Zeros will work but these are a bit softer.
From: Dave: KS
Comments: Each of these baits will literally last for a whole day until you take them off of the hook. Great money savers. From: Dan: USA
