Overview
The Gamakatsu G-Finesse Tournament Snap allows you to attach your lure without even having to open or close snap. Simply twist, click, and pull. It’s as easy as that. All you have to do is place the open end of the Tournament Snap inside the lure eye, twist and click it into place, then pull your line at a 90-degree angle away from the lure to finish setting it in place. Constructed from high quality stainless steel, the unique design of Tournament Snap also helps reduce the metal fatigue or failure sometimes experienced by other snaps. Perfect for tournament situations when every second counts, the Gamakatsu G-Finesse Tournament Snaps also help intensify the action of your lures.

Comments: Excellent product. I love using these on my lipless crank rods ('Traps). They are stronger than you think - E.g. I have landed giant bass (8lbs and up) on the mediums paired with 1/2 oz or larger traps. Makes swapping out lipless cranks a breeze once you do it a few times. This is handy when you are chasing the perfect color/size combination for the pattern that day - swapping out baits every few minutes.

Comments: These snaps are awesome and I always have one tied on my crankbait and jerkbait rods. Makes switching lures a breeze, and increases the action and desirability of the baits. They are rated for much more weight than the line they are tied to, and I've never had one fail or break. Anyone writing a negative review about them, obviously doesn't know how to use it properly. You don't ever need to open the snap and simply thread the eye of the bait directly onto the snap. You'll need to make sure you remove any split rings that come with the bait, as you want to snap directly to the eye. Another great product from Gamakatsu!

Comments: Once you get to know this product, you will luv it. If u use snaps for a while you learn that opening and closing makes em weaker each time. You don't open and close these snaps but use lure's line tie to go around the braces. Neat idea and easy once u get it. I use the large for hudds. I make each one permanent using pliers to clamp down the braces. I have not had a failure yet and it's low profile gives me more confidence in my bait

Comments: I have used these numerous times for big lake trout. After losing a few big fish on them I will never go back.

Comments: I tried the medium size also. Doing a test to see how durable they are by putting a lure on and taking it off, after about 3-4 times the snap started to bend and became more difficult to keep closed. I don't trust it to stay closed. Not a good product.

Comments: Just purchased the medium size for swapping out crank baits quickly and works well so far but the clasp jumps off the side at times. Need to push it back to its original location or risk losing your lure.
