Overview
These offset worm hooks, from Owner America Corporation, feature the renowned Cutting Point exclusive to Owner hooks. They also offer a corrosion resistant black chrome finish and strong, heavy wire, but that's where the similarity ends. This is truly an over sized worm hook in sizes 7/0 and 11/0. They are longer in the shank than other hooks and are made for oversized plastics. 12 and 15-inch snakes and eels, big swimbaits, and other thick plastic lures are no problem for this monster, and they'll help you land more fish.
The secret is that this hook has an ultra-sharp point like other premium hooks, but once the point penetrates, even hard cartilage and bone, the cutting edges actually make the hook push in past the barb easier, meaning less force is required to securely hook your bass. This is accomplished by the fact that the edges of the point up to the barb are actually like knife edges and easily slice into the fish instead of acting like a wedge that requires more force the deeper it penetrates. There is a third cutting edge on the bottom of the point from tip to the barb, which helps the barb enter more easily. We have all had fish in the net and the hook just fell out of the bass' mouth, or worse, set the hook hard and have the bass coming toward you and all of a sudden, slack line and the fish is gone. Chances are the barb didn't get pushed home. Try these exclusive hooks and see if they make a difference in your bite to catch ratio.

Comments: I fish big (12-15 inch), handpoured worms. I have ripped a million of them just putting them on these hooks with that funky bend. If I can get the worm on properly, this hook is great. But when I am ripping worms just putting them on, I need to look elsewhere for a hook. No, I am not getting different worms...the ones I use work.

Comments: I've been using this hook for years on BIG SENKOS Texas style. The true "Hog" hunters know about this hook. It's perfect for this application! Must have!!

Comments: I use these in 11/0 with big worms. Straight out the pack these are good, but if you get snagged in rock and pull a bit to get unhung check the point. It is designed so that it's sharpness comes from being very long and thin. I have had to swap hooks out when I get hung up in the rocks bc the very point of the hook will actually bend up or down and won't stick a fish well afterward. Trying to correct the issue with pliers can cause the point to snap.

Comments: These hooks are super stout. I use the 11/0 for the zoom magnum ol monster helps alot with short strikes and hook up ratio goes thru the roof. Would definitely recommend if you like throwing big worms

Comments: Strong, sharp big hooks. I pour 12 and 13 inch worms for big fish and I use the 7/0 exclusively. Never had an issue...going to keep using them till I catch the record I am hunting for. Then I'll quit fishing and relax.

Comments: Well, been using these hooks now for about 2 years now, and they are awesome! Texas rigged with a 6-7" Senko in shallow water in the "Junk" produces BIG bites. I was fishing a low level tournament with two other guys that were drop shoting - with limited results. I was landing mid-size decent fish all day! When one of my partners got a call from a local pro while we were fishing, he explained the Senko pattern, and couldn't believe we were catching fish using this set-up! These hooks are perfect for this style of fishing! If you want to try something different-buy some of these and put on a big Senko, or 10 inch worm... see what happens - hold on!

Comments: The Owner Oversized Worm Hooks are great for snelling! Flipping, pitching, and punching large stick baits will make any angler a believer! When punching, add a drop of super glue to the snell knot, then pull the 7 inch Yamamoto or 7 inch KVD Perfect Plastic Ocho over the knot and eye of the hook for a non-slip performance. Big is back in a very productive way!

Comments: Awesome. These very large hooks are amazing for large Flukes and large tubes. I was missing so many pike with my large tubes because the hook was too short. This has solved all of my problems. Hook is sharp and great for rigging weedless in the heavy cover. Big eye for large line to get down into that cover and take care of business. Thanks Owner. I will continue to buy these for year to come because I cannot find anything in this size that is better.
