Overview
The War Eagle Finesse Spinnerbait was designed to catch a quick limit of fish. The compact size of the Finesse Spinnerbait will generate those extra bites during tough fishing conditions. The Finesse Spinnerbait features a dual length Bass Eagle pro series skirt, Mustad Ultra Power Point hook, and Sampo swivels. All these quality components is the reason why War Eagle is one of the most productive spinnerbaits on the market.

My Go To SpinnerbaitI was never a spinnerbait guy. Before this year I had never caught a bass on one. And I only ever caught one fish—a chain pickerel. But I was determined to catch some bass on one this year. I only own about 9 so far. But 4 of them are War Eagle. I liked them from day one. And the place I am fishing at doesn't have huge giants. But I know I have caught the larger fish in this place with these baits. The other day I only caught one. But it was 17 inches and 3 1/2 pounds. Not bad for a small Pennsylvania pond. I will get more of these for sure.
The reason for the 4 star rating is the skirt broke. The plastic that holds it on split. I will have to buy some new ones.

Comments: This is my go to Spinnerbait. I have had so many incredible days throwing this bait. Mouse and Shimmer Blue are my favorite colors. Hook up ratio is outstanding I never use a trailer hook. Try it you will not be disappointed.

Comments: I'm not sure when I started using these baits, probably in 2013 or close to that, but since then I have caught a lot of fish on this spinner bait. The smaller frame seems to be even more effective on river systems. Not only have I caught numbers, but size as well. Try these and I promise you won't be disappointed

Comments: Missed 2or3 right off the bat, one was 3+ and ate the whole thing. Anyway a trailer hook later and I am very impressed with the bites this bait gets. It is a keeper.

Comments: Great bait to get your limit with. I've filled out my bag using this spinner bait numerous times. I like the blue herring color but being a lot of the lakes I fish are stained water I will change out the silver turtle shell for a gold turtle shell. The hook is good and sturdy, and remains sharp fish after fish. Don't be fooled by its compact size, I've caught several 4+ pound fish. This has really excelled for me in the early season and the fall when the shad are smaller. In the fall I like to skip it around and under docks. Has a great profile to match the smaller forage. Give it a go you won't be disappointed.

Comments: Nice looking compact spinnerbait, the one I received had a terrible hook though.

Comments: After trying many spinnerbaits for years with limited success, I finally found one that compensates for my talent limitations, and it's this one. I still do A/B testing against other spinnerbaits, and in most situations this one just gets me more bites. I've had more success trimming only the longest center strands and adding a small (3 to 3.33in) paddle tail, like the lunker city shaker, or small keitech. It doesn't seem to require a trailer hook. The fish always seem to completely engulf it. I hope War Eagle keeps this around forever.

Comments: I fish the Ohio River and this bait is super productive. Spotted bass and smallmouth seem to target this lure more so than other spinnerbaits. I never leave the dock without several of these in the boat. It has proven itself as a true tournament tool when fish are pressured or the bite is tough on many occasions. If spinnerbaits are part of your arsenal, then make sure you have a few of these. Every tool has a job and these get the job done!

Comments: My go to spinnerbait, I have one in the "mouse" color and it slays. You can work it at all speed with no problem and is a fish catching machine! I usually throw it in the spring and fall. Very well made bait.

Comments: Man if the wire was thinner these would be unstoppable. Like a rhino rolling down a steep hill on a skateboard. THAT unstoppable!

Comments: Good spinnerbait but even for finesse it has a very small hook. Yes, sharp but small. You will most likely want to add a small trailer hook in size 1 or 1/0. Very nice skirts too.

Comments: THE best spinnerbait I've ever fished. The smaller profile makes it a great numbers bait and trust me, you still fool the bigger ones with the best skirts you wil ever find on a spinnerbait. The pulsating tapered skirt actually works in place of a trailer making it much more versatile to fish. I recently caught 7 bass on a small river in Indiana, ALL on this bait, 5/8 oz in blue herring.

Comments: This is an awesome spinnerbait! I caught a 3-4lb spot bass off of it. That was a fight for me. My personal best!

Comments: Put a 3 inch Keitech swing impact fat as a trailer and you have a killer lure for large and smallmouth!

Comments: I LOVE THESE SPINNERBAITS! I have a pond behind my house & the bass are really finicky & they're really hard to catch but with thus bait it was no problem! I had the mouse color because the bluegill in the pond are gray.

Comments: I am a big fan of WE spinnerbaits because they catch good numbers. The quality isn't bad but the nothing special. The lead is not particularly dense & the wire and head will loosen over time. Also I could care less about cosmetics but the paint doesnt hold up. With all of this said however this bait, the T1 and the WE double willow are the only spinnerbaits I buy anymore simply due to performance of the bait.

Comments: In windy conditions I used Shimmer Blue with a white little dipper trailer in and around emergent grass. They didn't just hit it. They engulfed it. Every fish had it way down their throat. Swims beautifully and looks realistic with and without the trailer. Held up well after many fish.

Comments: I've used the War Eagle Finesse spinnerbait for the last 2 seasons. I can say, with 100% confidence, that is a perfect spinnerbait. The size may be small, but it casts easily and far, has a big profile thanks to the elaborate skirt, and the fish here just love it.

Comments: I've been using Mike McClelland's finesse spinner baits for around 2 years now and have caught bass, snakeheads and crappie of all sizes. I have them in both Mouse & Pond Scum Perch and they've become a go-to lure.

Comments: I've used these for an entire summer, now I'm ready to review! Simply put, I always have one tied on, smallies kill em, largemouth love em as well. These are by far a confidence bait, always catch fish on them. Great colour selection to boot...

Comments: I have fished spinnerbaits for over 20 yrs and find this finesse spinnerbait to the best I have used. I fish small lakes and ponds from a float tube and I have had great success with the Pond Scum Perch and the Sun Perch. I fish these baits on a Kisler light Carbon Steel rod with a Lews Pro Speed 6.4:1 reel, spooled with 30# TUF Line SuperCast Braid. Recently caught and released 9 large mouth bass with 8 in the 4# range which is great for a small lake in south central Idaho.

Comments: By far the best spinnerbait on the market. Smallies kill them on the Susquehanna.

Comments: Fished one these puppies yesterday for the first time and let me just say WOW! I caught 9 bass total on a pressured lake, the biggest was 3.8 pounds. I have fished a lot of different spinner baits but these are a must have in the tackle box. Slow roll them in shallow water along the banks and hang on! Awesome product! Will be buying more!
From: Dave: Jackson Ohio US
Comments: This spinnerbait has caught me many fish. War Eagle spinners are my favorite brand to use. As a previous person commented they can bend out of shape but are very easily bent back to work like new. Slow roll this puppy through the right channels of good type of weeds and you'll get some nice fish usually. I also like Revenge spinners and have caught several fish on those too. Nothin like a spinnerbait strike! Good fishing all.
From: Pat: San Jose, CA
Comments: i throw war eagle spinnerbaits exclusively, and these are awesome. this bait is extremely versatile. from creeks to rivers to ponds and lakes, they put fish in the boat. typical quality product from war eagle.
From: Dan: WV
Comments: Well this spinnerbat is pretty much the best one I've ever used! Fished it while my buddy fished a plastic worm and caught more than him. Haha. But this bait is made to catch fish, not fishermen. It comes through all kinds of cover......including trees on the banks. Bends pretty bad but is easy to bend back and the skirt and hooks are top notch. I like the amount of flash from the blades. The jighead is also very shiny. It casts a mile and runs good. Will buy more!
