Comments: I used it once and the paint is already coming off the head. It will still work, but for the price I expected the paint to last longer than one trip, and I only threw it a few times

Comments: These things are great.  The hooks are sticky sharp and the large eyes that connect the hook to the head allow for plenty of movement.  I stayed away from using them in the summer for way to long because I thought they would pick up a ton of grass.  After using them for a few season I can say that they are surprisingly weedless.  Sometimes they seem to catch fish that wont hit a T rig.  The only issue ive had is that the paint has chipped on a couple of mine.  I do wish they would have a bigger hook option for the 3/16 but I get away fine with the 3/0.  The biffle bug on a hard head is hard to beat but any bait that is neutrally buoyant or uses an air chamber excel.

Comments: After starting with this, and cycling through every wobble head, I came back to this one again and again. The bottom feel is without question the best of the bunch. Hookup ratios are great as well. Don't bother with the imitators... the original is the best.

Comments: For my initial practice I rigged a floating Z-man Big TRD, not wanting to lose my Biffle Bugs in practice. It was easy finding the right cranking speed to keep it bouncing on the bottom. If you have dead grass matted on the bottom of your water the football head will pick it up. Moving to the shallow water of the boat ramp I could see the head bouncing and the great action of the TRD. Can't wait to try on a harder bottom!

Comments: I am converted! I recently fished this system targeting rock piles in a Wisconsin lake. I picked up fish i would have never got with a crankbait due to weeds being present.  When i did get bogged down with weeds i just shook them off and kept going. Great for deep summer off shore fishing.  It allowed me to eliminate dead water quickly.  Ended up outfishing my partner 8 to 1.

Comments: I'm big on throwing beaver tails. Added these to my arsenal this year. I do a lot of finesse fishing so I go with the 3/16 oz. plenty of weight to keep your bait on the bottom. Hook sets are incredible as well. If you haven't tried these hooks yet, your missing out. Work great around rock damns and up to about 15' of water. If you're fishing deeper water or thick brush then you might wanna bump up the weight a little.

Comments: These do not come through cover amazingly well, neither do any other swing heads; that being said, the owner hook on these is amazing & personally they do not hang as bad as football jigs. The swing connection between lead & hook seems to help jiggle lose from snags better than non-pivoting jigs with a pop of the line. A great carolina rig alternative.

Comments: If your lake doesn't have a lot of grass this is pretty much the most effective way to catch fish ever. Find a long tapering point and just slow crank it like a crankbait on the bottom. They HAMMER it. It took me a while to really believe, but now I never go to the lake without it.

Comments: I'm a believer! paired the 5/16 with a biffle bug and put some really nice fish in the boat. The havoc pit boss works great with these too. Just chunk these out there and drag them back to the boat with varying retrieve speeds. I've caught some really nice fish dragging these things in 3.5ft of water around stumps and rocks so don't just fish them on the deep ledges!

Comments: I flat out love these things. I don't even texas rig anymore, just use a hard head for contact baits and you're in business. Very durable and the hooks are SHARP. Nothing to driving this bad boy home, especially with a rod with a good back bone. I just wish they weren't so much $, but I don't lose any fish on these so it's money well spent. Pair these up with a Biffle Bug or Riot Baits Fuzzy Beaver and hold on!

Comments: A great way to get a reaction bite with a soft plastic bait. Very simple to fish and very effective. The only secret I've found with the bait is to reel instead of dragging it with the rod. When you hit some kind of obstruction when reeling the rod loads up a little and the bait pops free, that's when I get 90% of my bites. If you drag with the rod your impulse (or mine anyway) is to stop or slow down and feel your way over whatever you hit.

Comments: Wowsers. This thing gets bit. If you wanna keep it simple, put your favorite compact creature bait on there and just reel it back at a good clip, making sure to drag bottom. Set hard and to the side. I found that if you try a normal Texas rig hookset, you wont get em. BOMBASTIC!

Comments: Awesome jig head. I was catching small keepers all morning long on a Texas rig and remembered that I had received a coupe of packs of these jig heads. Rigged it with the same soft plastic and began catching larger fish immediately. Don't know what made the bigger fish bite but I am sold! The head is very durable dragging the bottom all day.
