Comments: These and Sexy Dawg are my favorite walking baits. You have to bend the hooks out a little and SHARPEN them to have good hoookup ratio. But like ANY salad bait, you're not gonna land em all!!! And when you leave the cabbage you can walk it all the way back to the boat as well as any walking bait out there. Worst problem is if ole' toothy gets ahold of em, you have to squoosh the water out every cast, and after a while the weight in the heiney-hole will come out. FISH ON!

Comments: This bait has great action but it has a problem with hook-ups. This problem occurs because the two hook are closer together than on a regular hollow bodied frog. Two hook together are harder to drive through a fish's mouth than one--more typical on most frogs. Nonetheless, the Demon will raise more fish than most frogs under the right conditions. So how do we fix this? Spread the hook and make sure they clear the bod by a 1/4". Bend them outward (away from the shank) a bit but not an extreme bend. This will come through the weeds quite well though not a well with the unmodified baits. You may need to add weight to the tail in some cases to get the bait down lower. Make sure if you weight it, you keep the weight near the tail so you don't the walking action. One other point. Even if you do not want to go three any modification, you can use the bait to make the fish show themselves, then follow up with a frog.

Comments: This lure is my favorite on the Mississippi backwaters. I have caught so many types of fish on this lure from large & smallmouth bad to Northern Pike to Bowfin. A Must have in your top water arsenal. My best luck is with the firetiger color.

Comments: I hooked up on my first cast using this frog. Great walking action. I like the way the body of the frog slides above the hook when bringing in the fish. I believe this design helps with the hook up and catch percentages. The major problem I had, was after 20 frustrating minutes of working it through pads, the body of the frog tore apart from the nose, at the line tie, to an inch down its belly. I kept getting hung up in the pads. The weight on the back causes it to settle tail down in the openings between the pads, which causes the hooks to get hung in the pads. The body tore as a result. I hope I can return it for a replacement. I'd recommend the Boze ZZ Walker for the same applications. Ive never had this problem with the ZZ.

Comments: Major problems with hookup with this lure until I bent the hooks out a ways. Finally hooked up afterwards. This is about the only lure which will actually walk the dog on top of weeds. The hollow frogs claim they do but they really dont walk they kind of just change the way they are facing. Even the basirovsky kind of crawls on top..

Comments: got my weed demon in the mail to day so i put the black one on and on my 2nd cast caught my 1st fish and in about 20 minute i caught 3 and missed 2and they where my fault i set the hook to quick best topwaterbait i have used.

Comments: this lure is a must, i have caught numerous big bass on it. it's perfect for for moss on top, or for when you can't throw anything under water because of the weeds, this is better then the other ones because the hooks are in the back and you have an awesome hook up ratio, this lure is weighed perfectly so it's very simple to walk the dog, firetiger all the way!!!!!

Comments: Walks great but will not hook the fish. First time I used it I was fishing patchy surface grass on Guntersville lake. The grass was to thick for any other type of walk the dog bait but to thin for a mat-frog. This bait had well over 15 fish inhale it and no matter how I set the hook the hollow boddy continuiously collapsed and covered the hook. I also tried bending the hooks into a better position using a pair of plieres and nothing worked. It was upsetting considering the fish just would not hit any other bait but this bait would not hook them!

Comments:The Snag Proof Weed Demon walks easier than any bait I've used. I was skeptical about this bait when I saw it, but my friend and I used it in the spring time throwing it up close to shore, and we had an insane amount of strikes. It was even out fishing my Spro Bronze Eye, only thing was tons of missed fish.

Comments:The action of this bait is EXCELLENT! Second cast of the package,landed 2 lb. bass and just before dark landed 5.5lb catfish on a topwater lure...a first for me.
