Football Jigs Gear Guide
The Yamamoto Double Tail Grubs make great jig trailers or they can be added to a Yamamoto Skirt to create your own spider jig color combination. If you're looking to improve your odds with a spinnerbait, the Yamamoto Double Tail Grubs make for great trailers as well, and allow you to slow down your retrieve by adding a little extra bulk and resistance to your presentation. The added disturbance created by both tails really lets fish hone in on your bait. The soft supple plastic used in all Yamamoto Baits gives the Double Tail Grubs a great action and a realistic feel to lure fish in and make them hold on longer. Available in a wide range of Yamamoto colors, there is a Yamamoto Double Tail Grub perfect for any situation.

Comments: Not sure why Yamamoto is cutting back their twin tail grub color selections. I remember being able to buy junebug/purple emerald 213 and chartrues/pepper 156. Smoke with silver flake and clear with silver flake all great fish catching colors. Great baits what the heck yamamoto?? Makes about as much sense as rio rico discontinuing the striped bass color.

Comments: Great grub! For about .30 cents a bait you can't beat it. Would like to see a white grub for swim jigs but not complaining. Yamamota baits aren't known for durability but they are known for getting bites, it's gotta be all the salt. The tails move perfectly even with lighter jigs.

Comments: These are great twin tail grubs on small football jigs, the only thing I think they could improve on is the packaging, almost half of the twin tails are bent over, so I have to boil them in water to get them straight again. Maybe they could package in a clam shell like Strike King does.

p>Comments: Best double tail on the market. Period. Perfect jig trailer. Subtle, where it doesn't slow the fal rate down, but just enough vibration to give me the confidence the fish can find it in stained water!

Comments: Paired with a dirty jigs swim jig, you'll find the 5" are perfect jig trailers

Comments: These are going to be the only jig trailers I use anymore. I can't place a well reasoned explanation on it, but these things just flat catch fish. I've used zoom trailers on my jigs and never got bit until my partner let me borrow a Yamamoto Twin-tail. They're a little pricey but worth every penny.

Comments: Best trailer for summer, and spring jig fishing. The reason is because the bass are more lethargic in the winter and fall so I tend to stay away from this trailer during that time of the year, but these are the deal! I love using cinnamon (black/purple flk) on a brown and purple jig, and the bass love it too! You can catch about 50 fish on a pack of these trailers. They don't last along time, but they are definitely worth the money.

Comments: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! These things are tiny, no way they would ever work for bass jig trailers. Body is maybe a 1/4 in diameter and the tails are really thin.they claim it is a 4" jig (Yamo Cowboys are also 4" and are twice as long as these) You might use them for crappie or bream, actually I have crappie jigs that are bigger. Wont be buying any more.

Comments: Only trailer I roll with. Cant beat them when the bite is tough. Give them a shot. Watermelon w/ red and clack flk is my go to.
