Overview
With the current ever-growing popularity of throwing swimbaits, the prices of swimbaits have risen as well. Storm has decided to keep their prices at more than reasonable levels for their big Storm Wild Eye 9" Swimbaits. You'll find nothing but great detail and super sharp hooks on these baits. With two big 5/0 hooks on top of the bait, you won't hang up in the grass like similar baits with trebles underneath. Tie on a Wild Eye 9" Swimbait from Storm and prepare to be impressed.

Comments: Buyer beware, the weight listed on the package is NOT the total weight of the lure. I purchased one, and saw listed on the packaging that it was 2.75 ounces, but something did not feel right to me, so I weighed it. It came in closer to 5 ounces. I spoke to Rapala (owners of Storm) about it, and they indicated that the weight listed on the packaging is the JIG weight, not total weight. Be careful if you are throwing on a swimbait rod rated up to 4 oz, you may snap a tip if you try using this lure.

Comments: The only problem I have with this bait is the second hook. I don't feel like it is even necessary for catching fish, and it's also an absolute pain to try to remove it yourself since the piece of wire holding it is very strong. Very bad for anyone who is doing catch and release fishing. On the bright side, the pearl color looks great and it has great action and stands upright on the bottom. It's also a great price for what is basically a jig hook swimbait. Great value, but I won't be buying more of these unless they release a model without the rear hook.
