Overview
The Rapala X-Rap Prop was designed by Rapala pro staffers like Bernie Schultz, who make their living fishing prop baits. Featuring Rapala-exclusive, counter-rotating blades that spin in opposite directions, it spits and gurgles with the slightest movement. Rapala also added some extra weight to it, so you can cast it a country mile and cover more water, and it is even designed to sit tail down when at rest for better hookups. Especially deadly around the spawn, the Rapala X-Rap Prop is available in a range of colors and comes equipped with super sharp VMC treble hooks - to seal the deal.

Florida stapleWhenever you are on a grass lake in Florida, especially around the spawn or during a cold front this bait simply smashes em, use it with 20lb mono and go to work.

Comments: My pro buddy and I were fishing this bait in cold front conditions in FL, it absolutely generated bites that we were not getting from other methods. I hooked the biggest fish of my life, at least 9lbs, and it straightened 1 barb on the front treble and 2 on the back treble. Very disappointed in the quality of hooks, I feel that it absolutely failed me. This bait was brand new out of the package.

Comments: I was recommended this lure and it did not disappoint! I caught my pb which is an 8 pounder and so many more! This is my go to on tournament days. Fun days I will use other prop baits such as the mirrolure props which works just as well!

Comments: Great lure! Highly recommend. I throw it on 15 lb Berkly big game line 6'6'' med action rod. Very fun to throw into tight little spots and it will stay in the strike zone for a long time with short twitches.

Comments: Only used the lure a few times and had some good blow-ups. My biggest concern is that the line I was using would get wrapped aroud the front prop almost every time I retrieved the bait.

Comments: I purchased the X-rap props this winter prior to a trip to Florida, and I am glad I did. On Lake Ida, I absolutely slayed the bass using it. My cousin tossed several colors of Spooks, poppers and buzz baits and got nothing. This is now my go to top water bait for open water. It is well made, casts almost as far as a Spook and gets a better reaction from the fish. It was the first time I had a 100% hook up ratio on a top water bait. Get it.
